God's Mercy!

Okay, how stinking cool is it that God is merciful to us and gives us an opportunity to enter into relationship with Him through faith in Christ?!

It makes me want to do this:

Three in One?

Today we talked about the fact that God is One being in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  This can be such a confusing thing for us to understand.  The truth is, our human perspective makes it difficult for us to fully comprehend that God is three in one (Trinity).  Just because we don't understand something, doesn't mean that it is not true!  It actually causes us to see God as GOD and reminds us that we are humans.  If we could fully figure out God, he wouldn't be God!  

Here is Martin Luther's that shows us the Christian belief about Trinity:

I believe in God the Father, who created me;

I believe in God the Son, who redeemed me;

I believe in the Holy Spirit, who makes me holy.
